UPDATE: Paul Miller Mazda breaks ground, says a sign of bright future

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A long-time Lexington car dealership breaks ground on anew building.

And the dealership says it’s a sign the region’s economy looks bright.

Paul Miller Mazda is building a new showroom featuring Mazda’s Retail Evolution design on 27 acres on East New Circle Road. The company says it’s a fitting time as the nation comes out of the pandemic.

“This means a lot for the Paul Miller family. Paul Miller Mazda is breaking ground today and it’s time to build, it’s time to build after a long year everyone’s been through and I know our employees are really excited about it and our customers are excited about the Next Generation customer experience we’re going to be able to provide right here on New Circle Road,” said Paul Miller, the CEO of Paul Miller Motor Co.

The dealership has been in business since 1953 and in Lexington since 1975.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Paul Miller Mazda is breaking ground Wednesday on a new building and Mazda showroom, located down the street from its current dealership.

The new building will feature a state-of-the-art Mazda Retail Evolution Showroom, only the third of its kind in Kentucky. The showroom will enable Paul Miller Mazda to better serve Mazda shoppers and owners in the central part of the state.

The showroom design features an upscale, open floor plan to offer a higher level of business transparency and customer satisfaction, providing a consistent experience from when the customer first comes into the showroom all the way to when they bring in their Mazda to be serviced.

The new building will showcase the overall spirit and direction of the Mazda brand, the sophisticated design and premium content of its vehicles and excellent customer service.

The new showroom will include more space, high-tech facilities, and a wide array of new amenities. Its look and feel will feature natural materials resulting in a strong curb appeal and a comfortable environment.

Paul Miller Mazda has been serving Lexington since 1975 and has 17 employees. Paul Miller Motor Company began in 1953 with one small dealership that evolved and grew, now occupying a 27-acre campus with three dealerships, body shops, an upfitting service, an auto glass repair company, dent repair service and truck service.

In 2006, JP Miller became the CEO, representing the third generation of Miller family ownership and leadership. Many things have changed over the past 65 years, but Paul Miller Motor Company’s values remain true, and the company continues to offer the exceptional customer experience that put it on the map. Paul Miller Mazda is a proud part of that legacy, and it remains the only Mazda dealership in Lexington today.
