Road construction to impact traffic in Danville

DANVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – An entrance is scheduled to be installed for South 4th Street in Danville which will temporarily impact traffic, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The work is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 15 and last until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 16, according to the state.

The work will be done between mile points 011.0127 and 004.420.

The turn lane on US 127/Hustonville Road onto South 2nd Street will be closed.

The intersection will remain open.

The right lane will be closed from the intersection of 2nd Street and Hustonville Road.

Traffic barrels may be present in the bicycle lane during the scheduled hours of work.
