911 Hero: Teaching future generations

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ)– Jeremy Miller has been a paramedic for more than 10 years. For him it’s an opportunity to make and impact on his community.

In the last few years he’s also found another way to make an impact. Miller teaches future generations of paramedics by calling on his own experiences past and present.

The class continues to gain popularity at Frederick Douglas High School in Lexington, probably because it’s far from just reading a school book and taking some tests. The students even get real on the job training.

Miller continues to save lives while teaching the future generations.
