Blue Grass Airport announces new nonstop flights to Houston

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Blue Grass Airport (BGA) officials have announced new seasonal nonstop flights to Houston, Texas through Allegiant.
According to BGA, the flights begin in June and run through August.
The nonstop route is one of 34 announced by Allegiant on Tuesday, including nine special limited routes for the Sturgis Rally 2021.
According to Allegiant, one-way fares on the new routes start as low as $39.
“As summer approaches, we expect a lot of pent-up demand for travel, especially for places where people can hike, fish, camp or visit the beach,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue. “With this expansion, we’ve added even more service to destinations known for their outdoor appeal. Now, with Allegiant’s low-cost, nonstop service, travelers will have easy, affordable access to the cities they want to visit.”
Allegiant has also announced a new nonstop route from CVG to Key West, Florida with one-way fares as low as $59.
The new route via Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) will operate twice weekly.
