LPD: Robber scared off after clerk screams

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police say a cashier’s screams sent a robber running from her store.

48-year-old Franklin Bond is accused of robbing the Money Center Sunday morning.

Court documents say he walked in, with his hand in his pocket, implying he had a weapon and handed the cashier a note, demanding money.

Documents say they cashier then screamed for help and Bond ran out.

He’s charged with robbery.
