Cal sending message to Skal?

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)  – So far this season, Skal Labissiere has had some good nights…and some off nights.

Which of course should be fine since he’s a freshman, but we all know playing at Kentucky is different.

Not dominating a smaller Illinois State team seems odd to many Solid Blue fans and basketball scouts, as well as Coach Cal.

Was Monday night’s lack of Labissiere in the box score supposed to be a message to Skal from Cal that if the big man doesn’t compete hard he won’t get the touches and won’t be a star?
