DEVELOPING: LFD at scene of crash on Versailles Rd.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Lexington Fire Department is working an accident that has shut down outbound Versailles Road.  Lexington Police say they are diverting traffic to Rice Road.  Officers say they expect outbound Versailles to be closed for a lengthy period.

According to firefighters, the accident happened just outside of Man O’ War Boulevard.  Still no word on the cause of the accident, or if any injuries have occurred.  A collision reconstruction unit is en route to investigate.

The Fire Department does say that at least one car has a person or persons trapped inside the vehicle.
