Families of fallen first responders benefit from Lexington concert

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Hours of live music draw in many to support fallen officer Daniel Ellis and fallen paramedic John Mackey in Lexington.

It’s taking place at Horseshoe’s Kentucky Grill. According to a Facebook event page, there’s also a silent auction full of signed celebrity memorabilia from artists like Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen, The Doobie Brothers and more.

Regional singers and performers are making sure the music flows from noon, all the way to 11 Sunday night.

The event is also donating 100% of proceeds to the families of Ellis and Mackey.
