Local church gets a famous name to help with fundraiser

Lexington, Ky. (WTVQ) – A local church will have a famous name helping with its fundraiser.

Saint Mark Catholic Church in Richmond says comedian Jay Leno will take part in the church’s annual fundraiser.  The event take place on April 23rd.

The show is called “An Evening Among Friends”

Tickets for the show are $200, however Richmond Police, Madison County Sheriff Deputies, EKU Police, and Kentucky State Police can purchase tickets for $40.57.

The $40.57 price is to honor fallen police officer Daniel Ellis, whose badge number was 457.
