Police investigate carjacking in Nicholasville

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (WTVQ) – Police are searching for two carjackers following an incident in Jessamine County.

Nicholasville police say a man called them to say two people carjacked him at the Kroger on Brannon Crossing at around 10 p.m. Thursday.

He tells police two armed men forced their way into his car and made him drive to the Camp Nelson bridge on the Jessamine-Garrard county line.

He says they then took his wallet and money and made him get out and walk.

The man tells police he walked to a friend’s house and had the friend give him a ride back to his house in Lexington.

Police say he contacted them at around 1:45 a.m. Friday to report the incident.
