Two people shot on La Salle Road

Lexington, Ky (WTVQ) – Lexington Police say two people were shot on La Salle Road in broad daylight Tuesday afternoon. The victims names weren’t released. They were taken to UK Hospital. Investigators tried to piece together exactly what happened.

Neighbors tell ABC 36 News that they heard several shots fired around 2:30 this afternoon. An emotional young woman at the scene told ABC 36 News that one of the victim’s is her brother. She says he was expected to be okay. Investigators say it was too early to determine if this shooting was related to another shooting on Lima Drive that happened a short time later.
