Shorter shot clock helping Cats

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Coach Cal said the UK vs. Duke game will take 2 and a half hours to play Tuesday night in Chicago because of the new NCAA rules emphasis meant to eliminate physical play.

Cal also mentioned his team getting a 30-second shot clock violation being unusual in his mind and he doesn’t see it being a problem moving forward.

Cal’s players don’t see it as a negative either.

In fact, Tyler Ulis likes the shorter shot clock.

Hear from the sophomore point guard in the video.
