Cal says Cats D “not just trying to take silverware”

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – John Calipari isn’t known as a pressing coach.  He plays man defense and that’s the way it is.

Nothing fancy.  Nothing complicated.  No scheming or hiding of players for Cal.

Just solid man-to-man D.  That’s what Cal wants to see.

Coach has been pressing in the exhibition games, especially with his three-guard lineup on the floor.

It’s all about easy buckets for the Cats.

But will pressing be something we see throughout the season…or for that matter, will we even see it at all against Albany tomorrow night?
