Former UK head coach Tubby Smith used to say he knew if he had his non-conference opponent beat when the fireworks went off during pregame introductions.

If you don’t ooh and ahh…that means you’re there to compete.

Albany is no slouch Solid Blue fans.  The Great Danes have made the NCAA Tournament three straight seasons…winning the American East each year to reach the big dance.

Head coach Will Brown isn’t shying away from the task at hand and he doesn’t think his players will be Friday night at 7 on the SEC Network either.
