Expect road closures and delays due to Procession for Officer Ellis

RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- Thousands of people filled EKU Alumni Coliseum in Richmond this morning to say goodbye to a fallen police officer.

Ellis will be laid to rest in Adair County.

Because of the procession EKU says to expect road closures and delays until further notice.

Expect delays on and around the EKU Richmond Campus.

Funeral services for Richmond Police Officer Daniel Ellis have concluded in Richmond.

The Funeral Procession will leave EKU and will proceed to Adair County Kentucky approximately 100 miles away.
