Laurel County Sheriff: Crash under investigation

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Laurel County Sheriff John Root says his office is investigating a crash involving two cars. Sheriff Root says it happened along Hal Rogers Parkway around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The sheriff says, a driver riding in a maroon Buick pulled out from Pine Top Road and hit a Hyundai traveling westbound on Hal Rogers Parkway.

A passenger inside of the Buick was taken to the hospital for treatment as a result of the wreck.
