Man Shot In Arm During Robbery In Lexington
A man was shot in the arm during an early-morning robbery in Lexington on Monday.
Lexington police said they found the victim with a single gunshot wound to the arm at 2135 Cummings Court just after 1:15 a.m.
Police said the man told them he was approached by five men carrying guns and wearing ski masks.
He said the suspects demanded money.
When he refused he said they hit him in the head then shot him when he tried to run off.
The victim was taken to the University of Kentucky hospital.
His injuries are not considered life-threatening, according to police.
