EKU can’t let one loss turn into two

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – EKU head coach Dean Hood knows with Jax State in the driver’s seat now after the 34-0 loss to the Gamecocks over the weekend…along with Eastern Illinois also undefeated in OVC play….it’ll take a win-out effort one week at a time for the Colonels to make the FCS playoffs.

It starts with UT-Martin in Richmond on Saturday at 1 o’clock.

EKU is 23-2 all-time against the Skyhawks.  But the last time Eastern lost to Jax State on the road, it cost the Colonels a second loss in 2013 when Martin came into Roy Kidd Stadium and stole a win 16-7.

That can’t happen this year.
