Richmond son and mother arrested after early morning shooting
RICHMOND, Ky. (WTVQ)- Richmond Police say a son pulled the trigger and his mother hid the evidence after a man was killed early Sunday morning.
Officers are investigating the circumstances leading up to when they say 28-year-old Adrian Collins shot and killed 37-year-old Ronnie Kelly. The two men and Collins’ mother, Melissa lived together at a home on Turpin Drive in Richmond, according to police.
Adrian and Melissa Collins were arrested Sunday by Richmond Police and taken to the Madison County Detention Center. Adrian Collins is charged with murder while his mother is charged with tampering with physical evidence.
