KSP: Campbellsville man charged with rape, 17 counts of sex abuse

TAYLOR COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- State police accuse 53-year-old Michael Sweeney of Campbellsville of rape. Troopers say he was arrested on Wednesday on Central Avenue.

State police say Sweeney is charged with Rape 1st Degree, 17 counts of Sexual Abuse 1st Degree and 3 counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor.

He is being held in the Taylor County Detention Center.
