Update: Teen Killed In ATV Crash

A teen has died after an ATV accident in Lexington.

It happened just after 8 Thursday night at the intersection of Eastland Parkway and Anniston court.

Witnesses told police the teen was driving an ATV when he ran a stop sign and crashed into the passenger side of a Dodge Ram.

The teen was thrown from the ATV.

He was taken to UK Hospital where he was pronounced dead less than 30 minutes later.

The driver of the truck wasn’t hurt.

Police said the crash is still under investigation.
