New kids on the block: Jamal Murray
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Jamal Murray may be the most talked about Cat in some time.
“Representing your country…it’s just a different feeling when you have the flag on your chest.” Murray said about his time on Team Canada this summer.
Murray averaged 16 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 5 games…finishing second to Brazil in the gold medal game.
No one asks Murray about that game. If any returning Cat does, he’ll bring up the Final Four game from last season versus Wisconsin.
Murray had a beef with now teammate Isaiah Briscoe before coming to Lexington.
That’s all in the past after playing on the same team…and winning every game they played.
The Canadian sensation is confident in his game and confident he’ll go to the next level, but he’s focused on the now, for now.
