Nicholasville man headed to prison for child porn distribution

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- A Nicholasville man, who previously admitted to distributing child porn, has been sentenced to 84 months in federal prison.

The sentence was handed down Thursday by Chief U.S. District Judge Karen Caldwell. Jeffrey Max Treadway, 37, was making child pornography available for download on the internet. Under federal law, he must serve at least 85% of his sentence and according to court documents, upon his release, he will be under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 25 years.

Court documents read, in 2013, law enforcement found several child porn files available for download on the Internet and traced the source of them to Treadway’s computer, at his home in Nicholasville. FBI detectives searched his computer, finding more than 20,000 images, some of children under the age of 12.
