$1 million lottery ticket sold in London
LONDON, Ky. (WTVQ) – For the second time in a week and a half, a $1 million lottery ticket has been sold in Kentucky.
A player who purchased a ticket in London for last night’s Powerball drawing matched all five white ball winning numbers but not the Powerball. That means they’ve won the game’s second prize of $1 million.
The $1 million ticket from last night’s drawing was sold at the Laker Express store on Hwy 192 E in London. Lotery officials say they still haven’t heard from the winner.
A $2 million Mega Millions ticket was sold in Frankfort for the September 5th Mega Millions drawing.
