Miss Kentucky Watch Party raises money for Dyslexia
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) Though Miss Kentucky did not make it in the top 15 Sunday night. There was a watch party in her honor at her alma mater, Lafayette High School.
18-year-old, Clark Janelle Davis is a native of Lexington and graduated last year. The watch party supported her as she competed for the Miss America Crown. It also served as a fundraiser for a cause close to Davis’ heart, Dyslexia Awareness.
Davis was the only contestant whose platform supports special education. A portion of the proceeds from Sunday night’s fundraiser will go towards funding the cause.
