FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) – Firefighters in Frankfort say a fire at an apartment complex on Sequoyah Drive has displaced four families.

Firefighters say the fire started about 4:15 p.m. in the entrance of an apartment building, making it difficult for people to get out.  No injuries, however, have been reported.  3 cats were also rescued, but had to be given oxygen.  They were all okay.

A total of ten people are without a place to stay now, and firefighters say the apartment building is nearly a total loss.
