Wet Road Blamed For Fatal Crash

A wet road was blamed for a fatal accident in Lexington.

Police said a man was driving a Ford Mustang on I-75 near mile marker 119 just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday when he hydroplaned, went off the road and hit a tree.

Police said he was pronounced dead at UK Hospital.

He was not wearing a seatbelt, according to police.

His name has not been released.
