Arrest made after shots fired in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police have arrested a man they say was responsible for firing a gun into a vehicle Tuesday afternoon.

Officers say they arrested Jacob Gross after receiving a call about shots fired just before 1:00 p.m. Tuesday.  Investigators say Gross ran away on foot, but was found around 3:00 p.m. near Appian Way.  He was arrested after a short foot chase, according to police.

Officers say Gross has been charged with wanton endangerment, fleeing and evading police, and receiving stolen property.  According to officials, Gross was carrying a gun and had additional outstanding warrants for his arrest.
