Special Maker’s Mark Breeders’ Cup bottles to be sold for charity
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Two Kentucky icons are joining forces to raise a million dollars for charity. Maker’s Mark announced its plans to create special Breeders’ Cup bottles.
The five different limited-edition bourbon bottles will feature past Breeders’ Cup winners: AP Indy, Cigar, Lure, Personal Ensign and Zenyatta. The bottles will be sold over the next three years, and there will only be 500 bottles made for each champion. The sales will help raise money for Breeders’ Cup charities.
Three of the five bottles will be released just before the Breeders’ Cup World Championships in October at Keeneland. And Maker’s Mark says a special commemorative bottle auction will be held at the track October 29. Click here for information on tickets for the event.
