Injury accident on Winchester Rd.

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Winchester Rd. was temporarily shut down near Industry Rd. at the entrance to the Eastland Shopping Center entrance Wednesday afternoon due to a wreck involving a car and a Save-A-Lot truck.

The Lexington Fire Dept. says the accident happened around 3:30 p.m.  They say a man in the car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The person in the truck was not injured, according to officials.

Witnesses on scene tell investigators the driver of the car clipped the back of the truck.
