UPDATE: LPD looking for man in River Park Circle homicide

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say a warrant has been issued for a man wanted in a homicide investigation. Police say they are looking for Jack “J.T.” Clemons in connection to the death of Shirley Clemons.

Investigators say the body of 64-year-old Shirley Clemons was found last night at a home on River Park Circle. Police say officers had gone to the house to do a welfare check. Investigators say Clemons was killed by asphyxiation.

According to police, Jack Clemons is wanted for charges including Murder, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Lexington police.
