3rd Johnson Co. flooding victim identified
FLAT GAP, Ky. (WTVQ) – The Johnson Co. Coroner identified the third flood victim as 22-year-old Richard Blair of Flat Gap. Officials say Blair’s body was found in pile of tree debris a short distance from where he lived. Tuesday, the bodies of flood victims Willa Mae Pennington and Herman Eddie May, Sr. were found .
Searchers say there are five others still missing or unaccounted for. They say it’s possible the remaining persons are somewhere unable to communicate. Police say they hope they will be found during a house to house search.
Meanwhile, donations have started to pour in from across the country. Daily necessities are being delivered to Johnson Central High School, which is servicing as a shelter for the displaced.
