E-0 tornado touches down in Bardstown

BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WTVQ) – According to a NWS Storm Survey, an EF-0 tornado briefly touched down in Belmont Friday afternoon.

The Survey reports estimated 70 MPH winds, and WTVQ reporter Lewbel on the scene says there are dozens of trees downed in the area.

 Further structural damage to nearby houses from fallen trees has also been observed.
