Laurel deputies: Driver hit fallen tree on KY-490
LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ)- The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup driver hit a fallen tree Monday afternoon on KY-490, north of London.
Deputies say the storm brought down the tree. The debris covered both lanes of the road. According to investigators, no one was hurt in the crash.
The sheriff’s office says the East Bernstadt Volunteer fire department came out to cut up the tree and remove it from the road. Deputies say there were also reports of downed trees in the area of Langnau School Road in London, and in a campground area in southeastern Laurel County.
