Police: Two shot during house party on Cherry Blossom Way

(LEXINGTON, Ky.) Police say a shooting took place in the 2800 block of Cherry Blossom Way just before 2:30 a.m.Tuesday.

Authorities say there was a party going when three men with masks and guns approached the home from the rear. Police say that is where the first victim, who was taking a smoke break was shot.

Police say the gunmen then went into the home and shot the second victim. Both victims were shot in the leg and transported to University of Kentucky Hospital, according to authorities.

Investigators say the gunmen took money from some of the people in the home. Authorities say there was at least seven people in the home at the time. Police say the suspects are still at large.

Authorities say witnesses told police the suspects may have gotten away in a gold Mercedes SUV.
