Vietnam Veterans photography event

WINCHESTER, Ky. (WTVQ) – The City of Winchester announced they will be hosting a Vietnam Veterans Group Picture, to recognize the sacrifices brave men and women faced during the Vietnam War.

The event will be hosted at Clark County Courthouse on August 8, at 10 a.m.

Anyone who served in the Vietnam War, or was inducted into the military during the Vietnam War can participate. In a few weeks after the photo is taken, each individual Veteran will receive a copy via mail.

 The City says a make-up date will be on August 22, also at 10 a.m.

Refreshments will be provided at both events, by the Hart Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
