LPD: Armed robber demands narcotics at Rite Aid
LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – In what police are calling a “brazen” robbery, a man walked into Executive Drive’s Rite Aid around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, demanding narcotics.
LPD said he walked in with a handgun, demanded pills, and fled in a car. They are reportedly looking for a white man with an auburn beard, green jacket, black sweatpants and either a gray or green shirt.
He was in his twenties, said police, with a thin to medium build and wearing sunglasses at the time.
Officers say they are talking to witnesses now, and have called in K-9 units, but no arrests have yet been made.
