New malt beverage administrator hired
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky’s Department for Alcoholic Beverage Control has a new malt beverage administrator to help enforce the state’s alcohol laws and regulations.
Holly McCoy-Johnson has been chosen for the job. McCoy-Johnson replaces Stephanie Stumbo, who resigned.
State Public Protection Secretary Ambrose Wilson IV says McCoy-Johnson’s knowledge of state government and her ability to build consensus make her an excellent choice for the job. Wilson appointed her to the job on Wednesday.
McCoy-Johnson has more than 20 years of government experience. Her background includes a stint as executive director of legislative and intergovernmental affairs for the Energy and Environment Cabinet.
