LPD: Man breaks into business, hides from police in attic

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington police say a man broke into a business, and later climbed up into the attic to hide from officers.

Police say a burglar alarm went off Saturday night at Wines on Vine. When officers arrived, they say they found someone had broken through a window, on a door. They say they saw a man inside the business, but he climbed into the attic to hide.

Police say they eventually found and arrested Thomas Lane. According to investigators, he’s accused of burglary and criminal mischief.
