Bill Hanson named publisher of Glasgow Daily Times
GLASGOW, Ky. (AP) — The Glasgow Daily Times has a new publisher and a new general manager.
The newspaper reported Wednesday that Bill Hanson, publisher of the Jeffersonville, Indiana, News and Tribune, was named publisher of the Glasgow paper, effective immediately. Hanson will continue in his role with the Indiana paper as well. Both newspapers are owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc.
Daniel Pike, editor of the Daily Times for the last 1 ½ years, was promoted to general manager. The newspaper said he will take on daily operational responsibilities and continue to oversee the news and editorial functions.
Michelle Copass, who has been with the paper almost 11 years, was promoted to sales manager and will oversee the newspaper’s advertising staff.
