Police: Pedestrian struck by vehicle
FRANKFORT, Ky. (WTVQ) — A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Friday morning, according to Frankfort Police.
Called to Wilkinson Blvd in Frankfort around 4:30 a.m., Officers say the vehicle fled the scene after hitting the 30-year-old man. They found him lying on the roadway, and say they treated him on the scene.
While debris from the vehicle was left behind, FPD says they were not able to identify it immediately. An Accident Reconstruction team has been called to aid in the investigation, police say, and the victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the car that hit this man – if anyone has information, or witnessed this happen, they are asked to call the Frankfort Police.
