Police: Man shot during attempted burglary at friends’ apartment

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say a man was shot after two suspect tried to rob the apartment he was in.

Officers say it happened just before 11, Friday night. They say two people were sitting in some friends’ apartment while they weren’t there when two suspects came in.

Police say an argument started and one of the suspects, armed with a handgun, shot a man in the arm. He’s expected to be okay.

Police say there haven’t been any arrests made in the case.
