Two shot overnight at apartment complex near UK’s campus

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Lexington Police say two people were shot, sitting in the parking lot of an apartment complex overnight.

Officers say around 200 people were gathered in the parking lot of the Red Mile apartments when shots rang out. Police say they found shell casings and eventually two people showed up at the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say the party-goers in the lot weren’t very cooperative. They’re still investigating the case.
