Authorities say Paducah man set house on fire
PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) — A McCracken County man was arrested after authorities say he set fire to a residence in Paducah.
The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/1KxBaxe ) reports family members told 63-year-old Albert H. Baker to leave his home Saturday because he was drunk.
Deputies say later, a friend at the house was awakened by a smoke alarm and smoke inside the home and saw the back door was on fire. The friend told officials he went outside and found Baker behind a storage shed attempting to set another fire.
Officials said Baker was upset because he had been kicked out of the house and he decided to set the house on fire.
Baker is charged with first-degree arson, three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
