Search for suspect after woman shot in Pulaski County

PULASKI CO., Ky., (WTVQ) – One man is under arrest and deputies continue their search for a second suspect after a woman was shot in the head in Pulaski County Sunday morning.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office says it happened at around 8:30 a.m. on East Highway 452. When deputies arrived at the home, they say they found 49-year-old Allison Boclair suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. She was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where, at last check, she was listed in critical condition.

Deputies say two suspects, 34-year-old Timothy Showalter and 55-year-old Mark Showalter, were seen fleeing from the scene after the shooting in a dark blue Chevrolet pickup. They say they later arrested Timothy Showalter and charged him with burglary and complicity to commit assault.

Deputies say they are still searching for Mark Showalter, who they say is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you have any information, you are asked to call the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at (606) 678-5145.
