PD: Drugs & cash found in Berea hotel room

BEREA, Ky. (WTVQ)- Police say two people were arrested after officers found drugs, a shotgun and cash in a hotel room. Officers say they were called Thursday to the Red Roof Inn because of possible drug activity. After speaking to several people, including the woman who was renting the room, police say they learned that a man had sold Methamphetamine in the room.

Officers say they found a shotgun, 12 plastic bags with suspected Methamphetamine residue, 8 sets of scales, approximately 20 used needles, and a Suboxone strip inside the room. Police also say they recovered approximately 800 unused small plastic bags and $1,305.00 in cash.

According to police, 25-year-old Natasha Graves of Berea and 37-year-old Michael Hafley of Richmond were arrested. Investigators say Graves was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Degree. They say Hafley was charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
