Appraisals of bourbon memorabilia offered during June event
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Collectors of bourbon memorabilia will have a chance to find out the value of their bottles, advertisements and other pieces next month at an event at The Filson Historical Society’s headquarters in Louisville.
The program is being held as part of this year’s Kentucky Bourbon Affair, a five-day event that features behind-the-scenes tours and events at bourbon distilleries.
"American Liquors" will offer advice and appraisals on rare bourbon items from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. EDT June 6. The Kentucky Distillers’ Association said in a news release the event is free, but a $10 donation is encouraged to support The Filson’s programs. Advance registration is required by emailing Adam@kybourbon.com.
Kentucky Bourbon Affair runs from June 3 to June 7. For more information, visit http://www.kybourbonaffair.com .
