Arrest made in Codell Drive shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Lexington police have charged a 19-year-old in connection to a shooting on Codell Drive on April 29.

Officers arrested Dequay Marqus Walker Sunday morning, and charged him with assault on Monday. 

Officers say the shooting happened at an apartment complex.  They say a man in the parking lot was approached by four men who reportedly asked for the man’s wallet.  Police say when the man refused, one of the suspects shot him.  The man was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
