4 injured, 2 seriously hurt in 3-vehicle crash

STANFORD, Ky. (AP) — Police say alcohol was a factor in a three-vehicle crash injuring four, two seriously.

The Lexington Herald-Leader (http://bit.ly/1cpkrkK ) reports the crash happened Tuesday night east of Stanford on U.S. 150. Police say 21-year-old Lee McGinnis was traveling east on U.S. 150 when he crossed the center line and hit two other vehicles.

McGinnis and 37-year-old Nancy Vanhook were taken to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington with serious injuries. 58-year-old Roy Browning and his passenger, 21-year-old Ashley Gordon, were taken to Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford with minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
