Police: Bicyclist hit by accused drunk driver in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ)- Charges are filed after a woman police say was drinking, hit a bicyclist late Sunday afternoon.

Officers say she was drunk when she hit the bicyclist in her vehicle turning off of High Street onto Grand Boulevard.

Officers say she failed a field sobrierty test and was taken to jail. The bicyclist wasn’t hurt too bad, officers call his injuries non-life threatening.
